In 1976, founder, Fred Foster, took his family on a camping trip in the Rocky Mountains. His sons became ill after drinking from a mountain stream formed from melting snow. After some years later, he saw an online advertisement to learn how to purify polluted water in a webinar and signed up for it. In that webinar he witnessed a man pour the minerals in a filthy, dirty pond and after a few hours the pond became crystal clear and he then proceeded to drink from it. During the webinar, Fred heard people say that people with arthritis were reporting great health benefits from drinking this mineral water. Fred decided to purchase several bottles to try to help his arthritis that had reached a crippling condition. After just 5 days of using the minerals, all signs of his arthritis were gone.

After this amazing discovery, Fred began to give away samples to his many friends to aid them with their health issues. He received tremendous positive feedback from his peers and they all came back to Fred wanting more mineral water. In 2011, from a small farming community in Michigan, Fred established distribution of the Mineral Water from an Asian Manufacturer that was extracting the minerals from Volcanic rock via a patented process. This mineral water was named “Super Mineral Water” and word of the mineral water continued to spread. Today our company Vitala, was created by Fred and his business partner, Ralph, and is the culmination of the national and worldwide sales of this mineral water.
